Jeffery Crippen is a Police Officer with the Port Gamble Department located in Snohomish County Washington. Jeff has been a Police Officer since 1992 where he began his career in Southern California. While working in California, Jeff was promoted to Corporal and became one of the departments field training officers. Jeff has been a FTO since 1995 serving both in California and Washington.
In addition to being a FTO, Jeff has also worked in gangs, initiated several Community Oriented Policing Projects surrounding alcohol education and enforcement, I.M.P.A.C.T (Informed Merchants Preventing Alcohol Crimes and Tendencies), “Cops in Shops” and “Every 15 Minutes”. Currently Jeff is a Master Police Canine Handler with his Narcotics Detection Police Service Dog “Rascal”
In 2001 Jeff became a member of the Washington State Chapter of the National Field Training Officers Association. As an FTO he has also had to opportunity to revamped and improve the FTO programs at two different departments.
Jeff is married with an adult son. His wife works as a supervisor in law enforcement/fire communications and is also an FTO and NAFTO member.
